THE PROBLEM

The US market rewards presence, not just a strong offer.

A strong product or service is only part of entering the US market. Companies also need the right contacts, focused meetings and follow-up that continues after a visit or event.

The work is knowing which clients, buyers or partners matter, how they make decisions, and who follows up between meetings.

No access.

US buyers work by appointment. Without an introduction, you're a cold email.

No continuity.

A week in New York twice a year doesn't build a relationship.

No local read.

Tariffs, compliance, and channel dynamics shift faster than they can be tracked from Europe.

WHAT AEGIS CLUB IS

A dedicated trade agency, built around your company.

Members work with a dedicated desk in New York. We research the market, identify and approach the right counterparts, arrange meetings, and handle the work before and after each trip.

We aren't a directory, and we aren't a generalist consultancy. We are a small desk that works a short list of companies properly.

FAQ

Common questions.

Who is Aegis Club for?

European business and consumer brands, and service companies with a serious plan to build business in the US. We first assess whether the offer is ready for the market, the commercial opportunity is credible, and Aegis Club is the right fit. We also take selected assignments from American companies seeking partners in Europe.

What happens after I get in touch?

We review your request. Where there looks to be a fit, we arrange a short conversation about your company, your offer and your US goals. If we both want to go further, we run the readiness and suitability assessment. Unless we have already assessed your offer, the Brief comes first. Useful to bring: what you sell, where you sell today, any US contacts or past US sales, and your timing.

Why is membership by approval?

We work with a small number of companies. Before accepting a member, we assess product or service readiness, the US commercial opportunity, any specialist requirements, and whether we have the fit and capacity to do the work properly. Not every company or service is suitable for our support.

What support can service companies receive?

Where the suitability assessment shows a fit, we can support commercial development through market research, client and partner prospecting, introductions, meetings, relevant events, business travel planning and follow-up. We do not provide legal, tax, immigration, licensing or incorporation advice. These matters require specialist advisers.

Do you guarantee sales?

No. Purchasing and contracting decisions belong to prospective clients and buyers. We commit to the work: research, qualified outreach, meeting preparation, reporting, and follow-up.

Do I need to be in the United States?

No. We can research, approach prospects, and follow up from New York while you remain in Europe. If a visit is useful, we plan it around confirmed business meetings.

Can I start small?

Yes. The Brief is a paid, one-off assessment of one product line and one US sales channel. It gives you a readiness verdict, a market assessment, 25 researched prospects and a plan for the first six months, with no ongoing commitment. It is separate from the first conversation, which only checks whether there is a fit.

Which language do you work in?

English and Portuguese. We can arrange support in other languages when the work requires it.

Do you work with American companies?

Yes. We help US companies identify and assess manufacturers, suppliers, and commercial partners in Europe. These assignments are scoped individually.
